AP Environmental Science

This school year I’ve started a course called AP Environmental Science. It’s a high level high school course that counts towards college credits. This course focuses on “ecological processes, human impacts on earth, and how to resolve or prevent natural and human-made environmental problems.”

So far, I’ve learned about ecosystems, biodiversity, and populations. This course will allow me to learn more about environmental science and whether I want to continue pursuing this subject in college. I have learned a lot from different labs that I have conducted in class, such as how water pollution effect snails, and how different weather conditions effect grass. I enjoy my APES class and learning about our ecosystems and how we effect it.
